By Gee Yah

Sydney is a sprawling and diverse city built around a magnificent harbour. Abound with natural scenic wonders and modern engineering marvels, it is indeed a feast for the eyes!

The Sydney Explorer

The most traditional way of seeing Sydney is by boarding the Sydney Explorer bus. It goes around the entire city and stops at several points of interest. You may choose to alight and explore the area until the next bus comes along which is usually within 15 minutes, or you may want to stay on the bus and head on to the next attraction.

World heritage listed Fraser Island is known for it’s beauty and the worlds largest sand island.

This serene island has an abundance of wild life and flora and fauna to take your breathe away, with majestic tropical rainforest that have trees soaring an amazing 200 meters into the air give home and shelter to an array of birds from kookaburras, cockatoos, kingfishers, owls and doves. Perth to Perth Road Trip – Discover South West Western Australia

By Tracey L Christensen

The state of Western Australia (WA) covers an enormous area, roughly 10 times the size of New Zealand. To truly experience all that WA has to offer would take months or even years, so covering small sections at a time is the most practical way to experience the state. Heading down the Western Coast from Perth to Albany, then along the Southern Coast to Esperance, back inland to Kalgoorlie and then back to Perth is a picturesque route covering everything from coastal towns and tall tree forests to gold mines and dolphin encounters.

Cable Beach

By Elizabeth Kate Howard

Cable beach is typically popular among the vacationers for its white powdery sands that fringe the turquoise waters of Indian Ocean. It is one of the awe-inspiring beaches in the world. The high tides of this beach can reach up to 9 m. This coast boasts the perfect secured environment for relaxation and swimming. Between November and March vacationers should be extra vigilantly because the stingers may be present in the coast.

Did you know that Cairns is the host and meeting point of two World Heritage Listed wonders?

I didn’t know this, but started to get a sense of the special treasures offered by Tropical North Queensland shortly upon arrival to Port Douglas, after having been nestled in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest a few days earlier in a boutique hide-away.

A Taste of the Australian Outback in Alice Springs

By Rebecca Burns

The Outback is a huge attraction for backpackers in Australia – but it covers such an immense area that it would be impossible to explore fully, even on extended travels.

Many of the leading Outback attractions can be explored on a road trip along the famous Stuart Highway, or “Explorer’s Way”, which stretches from north to south over almost 1,800 miles, from Darwin in the Northern Territory to Port Augusta in South Australia, near Adelaide.

A short drive up the range from Coffs Harbour is a world so different to the beach and surf in Coffs.

Dorrigo is a charming town with plenty of old world rural buildings most heritage listed and plenty of cafes and restaurants.

Several rainforrest national parks just east of the town is an experience you should reward yourself with.

Either walk among the giant roots and trunks of these enormous trees or you can walk above the trees using the skywalk.

Valley of the Giants

The most spectacular things on this planet are normally natural phenomena. One that has been in my memory since I was a child is the Valley of the Giants. The Valley is located between Denmark and Walpole on the south west coast of Western Australia.
It got its name from the giant Tingle trees that are in abundance there. To get there you can go a couple of routes from Perth.
